San Mateo's signature springtime community event and largest egg hunt has enjoyed more than 45 years of fun. Attended by hundreds of kids and families, the event is an Egg Hunt in Central Park. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Peter Rabbit’s Playground Egg Hunt for ages 0-5 years old in the rose garden/gazebo (closed 10-11 a.m. in preparation of the parade)
9 a.m.-1 p.m. Big Egg Hunt with timed slots by reservation for ages 4-9 years
9 a.m.-1 p.m. Food trucks
9:15-10 a.m. Puppet Art Theater puppet show

and Recreation Department.
Metered parking is available around the park and in downtown San Mateo on E.
5th Avenue under the tennis courts.
