Footloose Freedom Mile July 4, 2023, 10:30-11 a.m.
Registration: mammothtrackclub.com
Join in a one-mile fun run through town. Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the race starts at 10:30 am at the Snowcreek Resort driving range and follows the parade route down Old Mammoth Road to Footloose Sports on the corner of Old Mammoth Road and Main Street.

Set up chairs along Old Mammoth Road or Main Street to view the parade, which includes music, entertainment and floats. Walking, biking or taking public transportation are the best ways to get to the parade, as parking along the parade route is limited.

40-45 piece orchestra Chamber Music Unbound plays America's favorite tunes in this beautiful setting among the trees. As a special treat for 2023, the Eastern Sierra Community Choir will join the band for a set of songs. Walking is highly suggested.

The Town of Mammoth Lakes in partnership with Crowley Lake Fish Camp annual Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular at Crowley Lake offers a bright and striking display of color in the Eastern Sierra night sky with 737 shells providing a mesmerizing 20 minute show.

 Since incorporating in 1984, the Town of Mammoth Lakes has been celebrating Independence Day with a spectacular fireworks show. The Town contracts Pyro Spectaculars by Souza to light up the sky above Crowley Lake. Souza is well known for doing some of the largest and most spectacular fireworks displays in the world.

The Mono County Sheriff's Office will be patrolling on Crowley Lake during the fireworks show. 

Art Festival July 4, 2023, all weekend (July 1-4)
Throughout the weekend, local and regional artists display their work at the Mono Arts Council’s Arts on the 4th art show in the parking lot of Footloose Sports. More than 70 local artists showcase items such as handcrafted jewelry, log furniture, handmade clothing, photography, stained glass, pottery, home and garden metalwork, paintings, homemade bath products and more. While you shop, enjoy beer and cocktails, live music and food. The art festival runs throughout the holiday weekend and is the largest fundraiser for the Mono Arts Council all year long.

Festivities in The Village at Mammoth July 3, 2023, 11 a.m.

  • Ducky races in the pond start at 11 a.m
    Purchase ducks day of and take your chance to win some cool prizes. Proceeds benefit the Mammoth High School Cheer Team.
  • Chihuahua Races 2 p.m.
    Bring your chihuahua’s down at 2 pm to register for the chihuahua races in the Plaza – races take place at 3 pm.
  • Concert in the Village 8 p.m.
    Jelly Bread on the Village plaza stage at 8 p.m. a
  • Fireworks at 9 p.m.
