LONG BEACH Loving Repeating Play Jan 21 - Feb 13, 2012
Performances run Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays @ 8 pm and Sundays @ 2 pm, January 21 through February 13. Tickets are 7 on Thursdays, and 4 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, except opening night which is and includes a reception with the actors following the performance. Preview performances take place on Tuesday, January 18; Wednesday, January 19; and Thursday, January 20 at 8 pm. Preview tickets are 9.

Participating wineries and beverage stations include Chateau Montelena Winery, Domaine Chandon, Stolichnaya Vodka, Thirsty Bear Brewing Company, Treasure Island Wines, The Winery, San Francisco and Wente Vineyards.
SANTA CRUZ - Monarch Butterfly Tour. Visitors can take Monarch Butterfly Tours at Natural Bridges State Beach. These walks take place during the winter months, when migrating monarchs come to Santa Cruz. The monarchs are migrating from their over-wintering sites along this portion of the coast and heading north, south and east. Public tours are offered on weekends in January and no reservations are necessary. Meet at the Visitor Center for the hour-long program. Monarch migration is variable, you may wish to before you visit to check the current population 423-4609. Time: 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., Location: West Cliff Dr., Santa Cruz, CA.
WEED - Sled Dog Races Jan. 22 & 23, 2012Join in this FREE two day family winter wonderland event. Enjoy an exciting two days of racing events as teams from across the continent and Alaska compete each day in various categories. Time: Daily at 8 a.m. Free to watch. Siskiyou Sled Dog Races – All events start and finish at the Deer Mountain/Chuck Best Snowmobile Park, 13 miles north east of Weed on Hwy. 97.
