Prior to the Parade of Frights, a variety of organizations and businesses will be offering Halloween-related events and activities, with no shortage of free candy for youth. Activities during the weekly Farmers' Market in Channel Islands Harbor include a pumpkin decorating contest, trick or treating, children's costume parade & contest. Arts & crafts, food, and live music are also part of the festivities in an event in which visitors can shop for a bountiful harvest from local farmers and fresh seafood from the local waters.

Spooky Maritime Scavenger Hunt

The scavenger hunt will be held 2-4 p.m. at the Maritime Museum, located at 3900 Bluefin Circle Drive Oxnard, CA 93035

The scavenger hunt includes a journey into maritime mysteries, ghost ships, and more! Candy will be handed out to attendees and costume-wearing is welcome!
