Prior to the Parade of Frights, a variety of organizations and businesses will be offering Halloween-related events and activities, with no shortage of free candy for youth. Activities during the weekly Farmers' Market in Channel Islands Harbor include a pumpkin decorating contest, trick or treating, children's costume parade & contest. Arts & crafts, food, and live music are also part of the festivities in an event in which visitors can shop for a bountiful harvest from local farmers and fresh seafood from the local waters.
