Costume Contest - $1000

All are welcome to enter the contest or come to enjoy the talent and contestants dance around the stage.  The contest includes cash and prizes for first, second and third place winners chosen by a panel of judges.

Day of the Dead Sunnylands

For the fifth year, Sunnylands in partnership with various organizations will celebrate Coachella Valley Days of Los Muertos. This four-day event at the Center & Gardens includes pop-up craft tables, themed activities, and traditional ofrendas (ceremonial altars) on display throughout the gardens. Crafts include monarch butterfly cut-outs that guests can color to decorate the gardens, and skull masks that guests can decorate and wear as they explore. Guests also can participate in a community display by completing the sentence "Before I die…" on colorful strips of paper, expressing their wishes for the future.

Halloween Themed Chili Cook-Off & Car Show

Join the fun at the Palm Springs Air Museum's 10th annual Chili Cook-Off & Car Show. Volunteers from the various sections of the Museum cook up their favorite chili recipes and visitors vote for their favorite. It will be a ghoulish feast for the eyes and tummy. Chili tastes start at $5 for six tastings; or one taste for $1.
