The City of South Pasadena hosts an annual Halloween celebration, Boo Bash. Formerly known as Spooktacular, the  family-friendly event promises an evening of thrills & chills:

• Local food trucks
• Classic carnival games
• Inflatables
• DJ spinning spooky dance tunes
• Costume contests with prizes for all ages

Show off your most creative, creepy, or cute costume! Winners are announced shortly after each age group competes. Costumes are judged based on creativity, effort, and overall Halloween spirit! Judging takes place at the main stage.

Costume Contest Schedule

6 p.m. Ages 2 years and under
6:15 p.m. Ages 3-5 years
6:30 p.m. Ages 6-8 years
6:45 p.m. Ages 9-12 years
7 p.m. Ages 13-17 years
7:15 p.m. Family & Group Costumes
7:30 p.m. Pets

No costume? No problem. Boo Bash is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with friends, family, and neighbors. Mark your calendars and bring your spooky spirit.

Families experience hair-raising excitement as they enjoy all the activities offered such as games, arts and crafts, inflatable slide, a thrilling costume contest parade divided by age categories. Parents and children should bring their appetite and sweet tooth for tasty food available for purchase.
