Nuts are the feel good fruit (yes, they're actually fruit,) that offer so many benefits to your health. They are the staple of vegans, vegetarians, and those trying to eat healthy. And if you have to pick just two nuts, pick the almond and the walnut! The almond is California's top nut crop, and 2nd only to milk & dairy products. Successful nut growing requires unique climate such as California's Central Valley. Nuttin' to do? Head there for one of the fantastic nut festivals...

 Kerman Almond Festival The fifth annual Kerman Almond Festival celebrates local agricultural and the almond industry in Kerman and Central Valley. Activities planned include a Fun Run/Walk, Arts and Crafts vendors, Kid Zone, Live Entertainment, Car Show, Almond Dessert Baking Contest, Wine Tasting and more.
