Clayton Oktoberfest features a free street fair with vendors, a big tent for Oktoberfest dining and drinking, free concerts and a full size carnival which runs 3 days!  Set to the backdrop of Mt. Diablo, Germans say the setting is reminiscent of an authentic Bavarian celebration. The Clayton Oktoberfest launched in 2004 and was such a hit, it's still going strong nearly 20 years later.

Clayton's free summer concerts come to an end in mid-September, but there's no time to stop the music as Oktoberfest saves the day with more free concerts downtown! A free admission event is among California's most exciting, featuring a full size carnival, vendors in booths lining the streets and Oktoberfest treats - big salted pretzels, bratwurst, beers and music by a Bavarian band. Get your party clothes and hats (dirndls, lederhosen, knee socks, etc.) and get ready to boogie on down to downtown Clayton where the Clayton Business and Community Association puts on an Oktoberfest party unmatched in the Bay Area.

A traditional keg tap launches the event where the fun never stops.
