Lafayette Art & Wine Festival Sept. 17 - 18, 2011. 

This is an annual event held the third weekend in September,  billed as the largest event in Lamorinda and one of the five biggest outdoor festivals in Contra Costa County.

Over 50,000 attended in 2010.

 Artisans show their works and  handmade crafts while visitors are invited to sample foods from top local restaurants, and enjoy  quality wines and microbrews.   Restaurants, food vendors, wineries and microbreweries charge fees for their beverages and foods.

More than 250 fine arts and crafts booths are featured at this annual event that is a popular and well attended success each year.   

 Continuous musical entertainment presented on three stages.   Kids area with entertainment and activities for kids of all ages.   Special exhibit and sale of work by local artists.
