California's oldest, longest running festival is a community event celebrating art, wine, music and good times.
Art, wine, music, kids games, a running competition... the fun stretches
on throughout a 3-day weekend at this Sonoma event which has over 100
years of tradition tied to the harvest season.
Live music, over 50 wineries pouring, and food tastings by Valley restaurants, specialty shops, and caterers all to enjoy at your leisure.
Not only is the Opening Night Gala about food, wine, and great entertainment, but like the Vintage Festival itself, it is about celebration. Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival has been around a really long time--since 1897!
Grape Stomp
Toss off your shoes, roll up your pants and get ready for the Great Grape Stomp at the 116th Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival! You'll be stomping with the best so come show off your footwork talent in the wine barrel. Choose to enter one of three different grape stomps:
1 Family Grape Stomp
2 Corporate Grape Stomp
3 Grape STOMPede!
The inaugural Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival 12K and the historic 5K runs will take you through some of the most scenic areas of downtown Sonoma, through vineyards, and majestic tree covered roads. This event began in 2013, and is open to individual runners, families, groups, and even those that would just like to take a morning walk.
Toss down a blanket and enjoy the music of some of the best Sonoma County bands as well as a special Friday night headliner! This year the Main Stage will be located in front of Sonoma City Hall in the middle of the horseshoe driveway.
