AGOURA HILLS: Homewood Suites by Hilton Agoura Hills completed a major upgrade to its three-story, 125-suite hotel. AGOURA HILLS: Sheraton Agoura Hills Hotel spent $6 million on its public areas, including Share restaurant, Liquid Lounge, the lobby, grand ballroom, outdoor heated pool and fitness center. 280 guest rooms, suites and corridors were refreshed. SHERATONAGOURAHILLS.COM
BORREGO SPRINGS: La Casa del Zorro transformed its three bedroom Peppertree Casita, which now boasts updates ranging from fresh carpet to a new kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, cooktop and wine cooler. The hotel also completed a $150,000 'solar farm' development consisting of 10,000-square feet panels to heat five of La Casa del Zorro's largest guest pools and fuel hot water for the resort's main lodging buildings. DANA POINT: St. Regis Monarch Beach invested $30 million renovating 400 guest rooms and suites. Other property updates include new menus at two of the resort's restaurants using herbs and honey from their new garden and beehives and the adoption of two goats to provide fresh goat cheese for several signature dishes. Guests can send text messages to valet for their vehicles, and a new press reader service gives guests access to more than 3,000 full-content daily newspapers and magazines on their devices.
