Walnut Creek on Ice returns each holiday season to delight the East Bay with an exciting, fun activity for all ages. From Lafayette and Orinda to Moraga and Pleasant Hill and beyond, locals make this a tradition that just keeps getting better with age, year after year. While it rarely snows in Walnut Creek, the chill of winter days make you feel like you're up in the high Sierras when you're gliding on ice. Many who live in the East Bay actually enjoy winter ski trips to South Lake Tahoe where the skiing is fantastic and they also have an outdoor ice rink at Heavenly Village.
 

Other seasons for fun include the time honored tradition of trick or treating and the annual Winter Ice Skating rink.
