Parks and Recreation
The City of Banning has eight developed parks totaling just under 200 acres. This includes one mini park, four neighborhood parks, one community park, one regional park, and one private park. Public facilities include three picnic shelter areas; three parks with ball and soccer fields; tennis courts; basketball courts; a new skateboard park; a senior center; and a community center with gymnasium, kitchen area, and meeting rooms. There are sports leagues and on-going classes like yoga and kids cooking in addition to open gym hours and senior activities.

Repplier Park, located at 4th and George Streets, includes an outdoor amphitheater that is home to the nonprofit Playhouse Bowl Association that sponsors a summer concert series.

A new aquatic center is now open. It features a large recreational pool complete with two waterslides and cabanas available for private rental during open swim times. An adjacent splash pad for kids is under design.

In addition to these existing facilities, the City has dedicated another 150+ acres of land for future park development.

For more information on these facilities, visit the City's Community Services web site.
