Operated by the City of Antioch, this small municipal water park features 5 adult and kids water slides that include Humphrey's Slide, Crystal Slide, Canyon Cooler, Rattler's Run and a toddler slide. The park is available for private events.

The Island Waterpark

42-acre waterpark with tube slides, body slides, 3 speed slides, family raft ride, lazy river, wave pool, family raft ride, kids' area. This 42-acre waterpark features a body and tube slides, kid slides, and a children's play area complete with a tipping bucket that releases 500 gallons of water. The Island Waterpark also offers a wave pool for body boarding.

Knott's Soak City is a large water park with plenty of watery diversions. Among its highlights is the Pacific Spin funnel ride, the three speed slides on Old Man Falls, and the Banzai Falls mat racing slide. Less adventurous guests will enjoy the long lazy river, Sunset River, and the Beach House interactive water play structure.

The 5.5 acre park isn't very large, but it's loaded with colorful fun and creativity for the young. Build a raft, water fountains, pools and water elements from toddlers to youngsters. Children 2 and under are free. This stand-alone water park opened in 2010 and was a splashing success as the third of three theme parks inside Legoland California. Each is separate admission, though passes are sold with admission to all the parks.

Raging Waters Sacramento at Cal Expo

Raging Waters Sacramento offers enclosed body slides, tube slides, and raft slides. Some of its more unique attractions include the Dragon's Den bowl ride, Cliffhanger dual racing slides, and Splashdown,two slides that abruptly drop out for a freefall experience into a pool. Volleyball courts inside the park.

50 acres of 36 slides and attractions, Raging Waters in San Dimas is a day of fun for all ages. Dragon's Den, a tube ride that sends guests circling around a 35-foot bowl with a mist-breathing dragon, Dropout, a 7-story vertical drop slide, High Extreme, a massive two-person tube ride, Neptune's Fury, a4 person raft ride with a 60-foot drop through the dark, and Thunder Rapids, a large family raft ride. Raging Waters also has kids attractions such as Splash Island Adventure, an interactive play area, Volcano Fantasea, Kid's Kingdom, a large water playground and water slides for children.

Brave guests will climb to the top of the slide's tower, enter the capsule, and experience a 55-foot vertical drop after the trap door in the bottom of the capsule is opened. If that's not crazy enough, riders will then enter a near-vertical loop before being deposited (hopefully with bathing suits firmly attached) into a splashdown track. Raging Waters in San Jose features a variety of slides spread across the 23-acre park. Although not as large as its sister park in San Dimas, it hosts some of the same attractions, including Dragon's Den, a tube ride that sends guests circling around a 35-foot bowl overwatched by a mist-breathing dragon. Raging Waters also features some unique attractions, including Shotgun Falls, a body slide that sends guests plunging into thin air before landing in a 10-foot pool, Barracuda Blaster, a three-person tube ride, and Pirate's Cove, an interactive play area complete with water cannons and a tipping bucket.

The Ravine Waterpark

Tube slides, speed slide, body slides, wave pool, activity pool, lazy river, and play areas for younger kids. A medium-sized water park, The Ravine includes the Viper and Anaconda tube slides, the Kickback Kreek lazy river, the Calypso Bay wave pool, the Vertigo and Kamikaze speed slides, and the Kiddie Cove play area for young children. The park also offers beach volleyball and snack stands.

Waterworld California has Honolulu Halfpipe--a slide that sends riders plunging down over four stories both forwards and backwards--the Tornado funnel ride, The Big Kahuna family raft ride, Diablo Falls Shotgun Slides, and a gigantic, 15-foot wide lazy river.

The Wave Waterpark

Small facility includes tube slides, body slides, Flow-Rider, lap pool, and interactive play area for small children.
The Wave Waterpark features six adult water slides and the FlowRider, one of its more interesting attractions, in which guests ride a simulated wave without ever moving anywhere.

Wild Rivers (reopens in new location in 2014)

Orange County Board of Supervisors approved a long-term lease to build and operate a new Wild Rivers on County owned property in Irvine! The new park will provide the same high level of customer service as before but will showcase a completely new array of rides, featuring all the latest and greatest technology to offer more thrills and fun than ever. The new Wild Rivers will also be an educational park with various educational elements intertwined within the attractions. It will be a place like no other!! Construction is slated to begin in the summer of 2013. Wild Rivers Irvine opens in May 2014!

In addition to its water attractions, the 52-acre Wild Water Adventure Park features picnic grounds, fishing, volleyball courts, and even horseshoes for interested guests. Also unique to the park is its star attraction, Gold Rush Mountain, in which guests ride tubes through haunted mine shafts with strobe lights, fog, and special effects. Wild Water play area has more than 20 activities for kids.
