This inside-the-park waterpark
in Santa Clara is operated by the
recognized theme park leader, Cedar Fair
Entertainment Company, which also owns
Knott's Berry Farm water theme parks in
Southern California. The rides in the
mid-sized Bay Area theme park attraction
offer a variety of activities for all
ages, and an added bonus to a day at
Great America, known for its thrill
rides. Other such theme parks have stand
alone waterparks that require separate
admission, so Boomerang Bay is an added
value and great reason to visit the park
during the summer months.
Great Barrier Reef - feel of real
ocean waves without the sand.
A lifejacket is required for anyone who
is less than 48" tall in bare feet or is
an inexperienced or nonswimmer.
Boomerang Lagoon- heated
lagoon with a tropical environment where
families can swim, splash and float!
Castaway Creek- in-water
lounging on the longest lazy river. A

Cabana Village- poolside cabanas
with lounge chairs and dining areas for
groups up to 6 people. Reservations
recommended.
Didgeridoo Falls- 4 person raft
atop a 54-foot platform sends riders
gliding through turns
DownUnder Thunder - 2 person tube
down a chute glides back up a nearly
vertical wall before coasting toward the
ground.
Jackaroo Landing- 8 family
slides connected by bridges, passageways
and rope ladders lets kids discover a
multi-level water fortress. Watch out
for water jets and a huge bucket of
water that tips when it fills to the
top!
Kookaburra Cay- It's a
spray-ground of interactive
fountains and water activities for
toddlers and youngsters.
Ripsnort Ridge- speeding down a
45-degree, fully enclosed chute for a
thrilling water adventure on the 30-foot
tall body water slide
Tasmanian Typhoon- fully
enclosed 2 person inner-tube water slide
travels through a series of watery
twists and turns
Screamin' Wombat- 3 story tall,
fully enclosed body water slide with
twists and serpentine curves
