WESTMINSTER, CALIF. — The top three things to see in Westminster are the shopping malls (Asian Garden Mall and Westminster Mall,) the Westminster Historical Museum and Vietnam War Memorial.

1. Little Saigon Mall & Westminster Mall: Westminster Mall, 1025 Bolsa,  (714) 898-2558. simon.com. The indoor Mall is anchored by Macys, J.C. Penneys, Robinson May and Sears.  Westminster Mall includes  180 specialty stores and a food court. Little Saigon covers approx. four blocks on Bolsa Ave, from Magnolia to Brookhurst. Import stores, shopping centers, restaurants and jewelry centers can be found in the center of this Vietnamese cultural hub.

2. Westminster Historical Museum: 8612 Westminster Blvd. Westminster, CA westminsterhistorical.wordpress.com. Operated by the Westminster Historical Society, the fascinating place features the city's first Drug Store (1874), the Warne Family Barn and Farmhouse (1915), the magnificent former Midway City Women's Club (1929), a 1904 Windmill, Blacksmith Shop, antique Water Wagon, Fire Trucks and Ambulances, a One Horse Buggy and a Shutter Shak (one of approx. 20 remaining California Crazy buildings.)

3. Vietnam Memorial: Vietnam War Memorial in Sid Goldstein Freedom Park, 14180 All American Way. The Vietnam War Memorial Project was initiated by Westminster City Councilman Frank G. Fry in 1997. A committee was formed to select sculptor/designer, Tuan Nguyen. The dedication of the Vietnam War Memorial in Westminster was held Sunday, April 27, 2003.
