Huntington Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau / Visit Huntington Beach

Visit Huntington Beach is the latest version of the conference and visitors bureau in Huntington Beach, Calif. Other names it has gone by — Huntington Beach Marketing & Visitors Bureau, and Surf City USA.

This non-profit organization is partially funded by a Hotel/Motel Business Improvement District (BID), and the City of Huntington Beach.

The "bureau" has a CEO, several hotel and conference marketing reps, a film rep, a public relations rep, a kiosk at the Huntington Beach Pier with people providing information, a film commissioner, and a rep providing information at Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum.

Producing a bi-annual visitors guide you can view online or order for viewing, several brochures on dining and entertainment, a calendar of events and other print collateral.

Huntington Beach has traditionally hosted between 11 and 15 million visitors annually. There are around 18 hotels, resort hotels, budget accommodations and RV parks where guests can stay.

The tourism destination touts its beaches primarily, and contains 9.3 miles of ocean frontage that is comprised of Huntington State Beach, Bolsa Chica State Beach, Huntington City Beach, Huntington Dog Beach and Sunset Beach.

The city features an iconic cement pier with a signature red-domed restaurant at the end of the pier similar to the building at Manhattan Beach Pier.

The city's signature events are the US Open of Surfing, Duck-a-thon, Cruise of Lights, Oktoberfest, Surf City Marathon (Super Bowl Sunday,) 4th of July Parade and Fireworks, Oktoberfest, Taste of Huntington Beach and weekly Surf City Nights.  A special events coordinator at the City of Huntington Beach works with event planners to host these public events, and the visitors bureau helps to promote them, along with the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce.

For relocation information and packets, the Chamber is your best bet. For visitor information, the visitors bureau is there to assist.
