California’s Official Outdoor Play Among Spring Treats

RAMONA has a been a California tradition performed at the Ramona Bowl in Hemet since 1932. Like Marilyn Monroe getting her start in starring roles such as Artichoke Queen at Castroville Artichoke Festival, actresses Raquel Welch, Loretta Young and Mary Pickford played Ramona in a Southern California pageant staged outdoor with costumed actors (some riding horses.)
