Go with the GLOW

This weekend one of the hottest events on the coast (literally,) the annual Santa Cruz GLOW, explores light, often created by fire. Produced by Museum of Art and History (MAH), the evening is filled with wonderment, exploration, and amazing displays. It’s not the only place where “glow” is happening during the Halloween season. Here are some events where you may find your way courtesy of light:

  • BENICIA: Ghost Walk October 21, 22 Spooky tales of the paranormal history of Benicia, courtesy of flashlights.
  • BIG BEAR LAKE: Flashlight Tours at Big Bear Zoo October 21, 22. Experience the Call of the Wild watching animals come to life at night.
  • HOLLISTER: Night Terror in the Corn Flashlight and Moonlight Haunted Corn Maze Attraction at Swank Farms
  • SACRAMENTO: Old Sacramento Ghost Tours presented by Sacramento History Museum
  • SALINAS: 5 Acre Giant Corn Maze —  try finding your way out. Good luck at night… it’s by flash light!
  • SAN JOSE: Winchester Mystery House Flashlight Tours October 21-22
  • SANTA PAULA: Ghostwalk Flashlight Tours October 21-23
