Destinations around the Golden State have come up with unique, fun events and festivities to celebrate the season with travelers visiting family and friends in their region. Sausalito’s Gingerbread House Tour is one that you’ll want to see this season. Pictured above, there’s the three “Gingies” out rowing kayaks and bringing goodwill to this lively festival that runs through December.
San Francisco and the Bay Area is over the top with fun things to see and do during the holidays. While mourning the loss of Mayor Lee who passed away quickly after a heart attack, the show goes on.
In addition to the many seasonal outdoor ice skating rinks throughout the Bay Area, San Franciscans continue to put on a quite a show with zany comedy:
Nutrcrackers are a tradition in the Bay Area. There are dozens of ballet performances with sugar plum fairies and a dancing mouse.
