Huntington Beaches Information

Huntington Beach beaches are probably the best known vacation beaches for inland residents who day-trip to Orange County. They are exceptional because they feature the flattest sand (easy for all ages to walk on) and the biggest parking lots in all of Orange County. The combined 8.3 mile stretch between Newport Beach and Sunset Beach where parking is plentiful, can accommodate thousands of cars and buses. Included in that stretch is one full time RV parking facility at Bolsa Chica State Beach and one winter facility at Huntington City Beach.

In addition, the beaches are broad and expansive, and they have bonfire rings, a bonus that nearly every visitor wants to experience.

Huntington Beach has approx. 9.3 miles total length of oceanfront beaches comprised of four distinct operations and names north to south: Sunset Beach, Bolsa Chica State Beach, Huntington City Beach (includes Huntington Dog Beach,) and Huntington State Beach.

With less than 200,000 full time residents in the city and more than 11 million visitors each year, it's fair to say that local Surf City citizens like to share the beach with the world. They're proud of their beaches and are happy to call "HB" the pride of the coast!
