Grover Beach in San Luis Obispo County is a beach city nestled in the Santa Maria Valley near the I-101 Freeway. Grover Beach (formerly called Grover City) has a convenient Amtrak station with approx. two stops daily between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Ramona Garden Park is the location for most city events such as Halloween and summer concerts. Though less than 20,000 population, the city of Grover Beach feels much larger because it's surrounded by other cities and shares many attractions (wine country, beaches, hotels) with neighboring cities such as Oceano and Pismo Beach.
