Santa Ana, Calif. –A delicious, new addition to Artists Village in Downtown Santa Ana has taken into account the art-focused setting to create unique menu items, colorful cocktails, and presentations pleasing to the artist in all of us.

Chapter One: the modern local, gains inspiration from the creative minds of owners Jeffrey Hall, Tim O'Connor and Jeff Jensen who sought to evolve the gastropub concept and take it local. In addition to providing great food and eye-appealing presentations, the ingredients are farm-to-table sourced, drawing from in season berries & fruits, and the best that California has to offer in produce, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and additional ingredients that span the globe. 

What's to eat?  French Toast takes on new meaning when called, "Elvis".  With ingredients such as Grand Marnier, caramelized bananas and coconut peanut butter spread, you're spoiled for life and never can return to normal French Toast.

Savor Seared Duck Breast with Sweet Potato Waffle features a maple bourbon reduction, or try Porterhouse Steak, Wild Mushroom & Chicken Pot Pie, Jamaican Pork Tenderloin, or a delicious Lamb Burger to expand your literary and culinary repertoire.

What's to drink? 12 draft beers, wine bottle specials, and fresh fruit infusion shots such as their Moscow Mule made with house ginger and served in a traditional copper cup.  Druid Divination is prepared with muddled strawberry, thyme, basil, knot Irish whiskey, Barsol Pisco, and 25 year aged balsamic. Out of this world, delicious!
