City of Palo Alto's Twilight FREE Summer Concert Series celebrates the diversity of musical programming throughout the Bay Area, with concerts and family movie nights. While other well known jazz festivals in California only last a weekend (Monterey Jazz Festival & Blue Note Jazz Festival), this event is great because you can purchase tickets to your favorite artists spread well over a month of jazz enjoyment. See renowned jazz musicians/performers, composers and lesser known acts all in one series. While you can fly into SFO or Oakland Airport and catch the acts you want, the ideal choice is to stay a month and see great jazz nearly every night. If you live in the area, all the better, yet!
