DANA POINT: Whale Walk and Talk. Time: 9-11 a.m. Free Location: Nature Interpretive Center 34558 Scenic Drive Dana Point, California 92629. Dana Point Nature Interpretive Center, walk to see species of whales and dolphins in a 1.5 mile walk through the Dana Point Headlands conservation area. Bring your binoculars (or use a few available for loan) and learn migration patterns of different whale species that frequent the area, as well as how to best spot, watch, and identify whales. This walk is offered every morning during the Festival of Whales weekend (March 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th).
