Arcata Halloween on the Plaza Trunk or Treat

An afternoon of frightful Halloween fun featuring local vendors, delicious food and drinks, a festive bar for the adults, face painting and live entertainment on the Arcata Plaza! 

They'll be blocking off the plaza for a safe and fun evening of trick-or-treating! Businesses around the Arcata Plaza and down H Street from 11th to 8th are encouraged to open their doors, have sales, hand out pre-packaged goodies, and get spooky!! More details coming soon! This event is brought to you by the Arcata Chamber and Humboldt Made!

Arcata Plaza Downtown's Main street is the center of Trick or Treat fun on Halloween Day. Set Up and Street Closures start around 3 p.m. for the 4 p.m. opening of the event. The Trunk or Treat event requires sign up by trunkers handing out candy. There will be a contest for best trunk decoration. No fees charged. Trick or Treating for kids is free.

Step into a world of winding mazes, creepy characters, unexpected twists and turns, and spooky fun. Designed to keep you guessing and screaming, you can also take a break with live music, a food truck and more.

Kinetic Lab of Horrors is the annual fundraiser for the Kinetic Sculpture Lab, a creative workspace and community hub that is home to seven kinetic sculpture teams.  Since the 1990s The Lab has played an important role in the world of kinetic sculpture racing, providing artists, builders and racers with a place to create, experiment and prepare for the legendary Kinetic Grand Championship.
