April Fair season in California is a great time to attend a fair. There's seldom
rain during April and the weather is spectacular throughout California, so
you'll find the mild days and cool nights make fair attendance absolutely
comfortable, providing longevity for a day at the fair. That way you can
maximize the money you spend to get in, or the effort it takes to get there, and
really see the displays. Some fairs such as street fairs tend to be free, while
the county fairs usually charge two fees--one for parking and one for admission.
Some of the fairs are traditional county fairs. That fair season goes into
high gear around June. That's why the April fairs are so much fun. You can get a
head start while California's kids are in school, usually providing for not
quite as many crowds.
