SALINAS - September 10, 2011 Salinas Valley BeerFest, Salinas, CA The Dunwoody Restaurant Group, The Vincent Group, and the Salinas Jaycees present the inaugural Salinas Valley BeerFest, which  takes place in Old Town Salinas. This afternoon event  features beer from more than 20 breweries, along with live music and other entertainment. VIP tickets, with early admission and talks by brewery representatives, are available. VIP tasting   begins at 11 a.m. , and gates  open to the public starting at 12 p.m. . Tickets are $45, $85 VIP includes early admission. More than 20 breweries are scheduled to participate in the inaugural BeerFest, including Sierra Nevada, Speakeasy, New Belgium, Ninkasi, Uncommon Brewers, Santa Cruz Aleworks, Black Star, English Ales, Peter B's, Grand Teton, Hermitage, Irondale, Maui Brewing, St. Stan's, Valley Brew, Deschutes, Firestone Walker, and Mendocino Brewing amongst others.
