TORRANCE - September 9-October 23 (Friday through Sunday): Alpine Village Oktoberfest, Torrance, CA Alpine Village, a restaurant and market complex located in Torrance, hosts the 44th annual Oktoberfest. Described as Southern California's oldest and largest Oktoberfest-style celebration, the celebration   takes place Friday through Sunday under a massive tent. Festivities includes German beer and food, along with oom-pah bands flown in direct from Germany. Sundays are family days with kiddie jumpers, sweet treats and games. Alpine Village is the home of the oldest and largest Oktoberfest celebration in Southern California! This year's Oktoberfest is held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between September 9 and October 23 in a massive 32,000 square foot tent. Traditional Bavarian fun is supplied by Oom Pah Pah big bands flown in direct from Germany, your belly is sated by traditional German fare, and your thirst is quenched by delicious German beers.
