VENTURA - September 17 - 18, 2011 California Beer Festival

September 17   Craft Beer Heaven  Cost: $45
Noon to 5 p.m.   Over 100 different craft beers represented, six live bands on two separate stages and food from local vendors. Guests   receive a souvenir tasting cup to sample some of the best craft beers from around the world Gates  open at 12pm, beer sampling  starts at 1 p.m. Space is very limited!

Sunday September 18 Blues, Brews and BBQ!  Cost: $25
 Noon to 6 p.m. Twenty teams from all over the state compete in the BBQ Cook off! Guests sample great BBQ from the competitors, learn some new BBQ tips, all while you get marinated by some of the best California blues acts; Chris Cain, Coco Montoya and Tommy Castro!!! Sunday there is no beer sampling but craft beer is available for purchase along with great food from 6 different food vendors! Sunday  is an all ages event.

VENTURA - October 1, 2011 Ventura County Oktoberfest, Camarillo, CA The Thousand Oaks Sunrise Rotary Oktoberfest presents the 25th annual Ventura County Oktoberfest, which take place at the Commemorative Air Force Museum in Camarillo. Organizers expect to serve 20 German beers, with all five historic breweries of Munich represented, along with Weihenstephan. There is also a BrewFest Beer Garden with German- and California-brewed beer, traditional German food, live entertainment, and family and children's activities.
