BIO

Denise Morrison hails from Northern California where she was raised in the university town of Davis. Denise graduated from CA State University Northridge earning a B.A. degree in Communications-Journalism. She also attended schools in Europe: briefly in Cambridge (her father was made an honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire, MBE), and Switzerland, where she worked for a multinational company.

Denise has experience working in a number of different industries, including corporate public relations and destination marketing. She held positions at the Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Automobile Club of Southern California, and the Huntington Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau. In addition to being an avid traveler, Denise actively supports the visual arts. Her photographs have appeared in Coast Magazine, Laguna Beach Magazine, and the Coastline Pilot, among others.

Denise has been a member of the World Affairs Council where she assisted with special events, has worked with the Endangered Planet Foundation.  Morrison also has worked in the arts community with many of California's prestigious galleries and artists, and has a special eye for the unique and unusual. She finds stories that are slightly off-beat, yet well worth a read. Places you may find Denise include riding horses, Colorado Rocky mountains, Switzerland, California and any place where life is beautiful, and travel opportunities abound.
