Celebrate The Year of the Snake at Disneyland and California Adventure (2 theme parks) with traditions of Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures. Disney characters  Mulan, Mushu, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse appear during this event in  festive attire. 

In 2025, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse debut all-new outfits with representations of traditional Korean attire.

There's also two new culinary marketplaces (for a total of six), kid-friendly crafts, the Lucky Wishes Wall, and the return of  Hurry Home - Lunar New Year Celebration presented prior to World of Color.

 Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park (Jan. 17-Feb. 16, 2025): Offerings inspired by Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean traditions will ring in the Year of the Snake. Returning offerings include Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession on select days,  Hurry Home - A Lunar New Year Celebration  water short, daily live musical performances and Asian-inspired menu items across six Lunar New Year marketplaces and select dining locations.

Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession is a bright and bold parade presented by Mulan and her faithful dragon, Mushu, along with a Chinese dragon puppet, warriors, drummers and dancers.

Disneyland Resort's Lunar New Year is a joyous celebration of Asian cultures. Lunar New Year welcomes guests of all ages to commemorate traditions with beloved Disney characters and welcome another year of good fortune.  During the 24 days of this multicultural celebration, guests enjoy delicious eats and exciting live entertainment and musical performances. Welcoming a year of good fortune, this joyous festival invites guests of all ages to commemorate traditions of Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures, along with darling Disney characters such as Tigger, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the Three Little Pigs donning their Lunar New Year festive best.

The festival features other live entertainment, culinary marketplaces, fun-filled activities, kid-friendly crafts, vibrant décor, a Lucky Wishes Wall and specialty merchandise. 

Guests at the Lunar New Year celebration discover a touch of Disney magic as they experience Asian culture through inspired food, music and entertainment with their family and friends, commemorating the moment when both the sun and the moon begin their journey for another year.
