For those who lament that 4th of July parades and fireworks come and go too quickly for your liking, California’s grand theme park has an anecdote.
Disneyland in Anaheim has a long tradition of serving up parades and fireworks fun — usually on a nightly basis during the summer months. While Mickey’s Soundsational Parade at the park is going away July 17, 2019, the air is electrified with news that Main Street Electrical Parade returns to Disneyland Resort Aug. 2 for a limited engagement through Sept.30, 2019.
First introduced at Disneyland June 17, 1972, the parade features approx. 22 floats, 7 films (Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Dumbo and Pete’s Dragon,) 80 performers, over half a million sparkling lights and a popular synthesizer musical score known as Baroque Hoedown. You can check out tickets and packages to the Happiest Place on Earth.
While fireworks may be found on a limited basis throughout California after the 4th of July, parades are plentiful. Some delightful summer parades include these…
