Head to the back of the line, Disneyland, because Knott’s Berry Farm is just as much fun and offers free admission to Ghost Town Mondays through Thursdays– Thanksgiving to Dec. 18, 2014. In addition, they’ve extended their free parking to 4 hours in the MarketPlace parking lot to accommodate shoppers who come weekdays (except Friday.)  I can’t believe it’s free! I can’t believe it’s Knott’s Berry Farm!

OK, to back-pedal just a little, Knott’s clearly isn’t Disneyland and it never will be. But it’s a theme park for the people–young, old, locals, tourists, and the middle class who can’t spend $150/person for a 1 day admission, plus $17 parking that the Happiest Place on Earth (Disneyland) charges.
