Santa Anas Knocked the Wind Out of Santa Claus

img

It wouldn’t be Christmas in Southern California without the Santa Ana winds. They come every year, wreak havoc on the sinuses, knock out stoplights, and sometimes even take the wind out of Santa’s sails as shown in a photo of a rooftop inflatable Santa Claus that has collapsed on Beach Boulevard.

It’s only 2 days till Santa’s “run” is launched, then done. Come on Santa! Pick yourself up, buckle that big shiny belt on the red velvet suit, comb your flowing white hair and beard, and get moving. You can make it!

Be sure to follow Santa’s trip around the world (noradsanta.org).

Burning questions about Santa Claus:

  • What kind of kid was Santa?
  • What did Santa’s parent’s think about his career choice?
  • How did he get the job of being Santa?
  • Where does Santa go on vacation?
  • How does he get into houses that don’t have chimneys?
  • Will Santa ever retire?
  • Does Santa use Iphone or Android?
