Cerritos Library is an award-winning, five star rated America's Libraries Star. The first titanium-clad building constructed in the United States, it is like visiting a fine arts gallery, with its quality art work and spectacular architecture. During the design process, the City staff looked outside the library world at institutions such as The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, designed by Frank Gehry. Selecting this structure as an inspiration for the layout and modern design of the exterior of the building, sounds emanate from the Rainforest and aquarium areas for multi-sensory experiences.
