Cerritos is home to the Center for the Performing Arts, a concert venue feature top musicians. That concert hall books musical acts all year long, including the summer--but the concerts aren't free. However, the annual Concerts in Heritage Park on the Island Stage provide a free, fun way to spend summer nights with family and friends, rocking to the music. The bands selected for their broad appeal feature local cover bands with island sound, r&b, soul, rock, blues and lots of tributes to famous rockers. Bring a blanket to relax on the ground, a low back lawn chair to sit on and a picnic basket to share food with your friends while you unwind "Under the Stars" in Cerritos.

Other fun activities and events in Cerritos include the free Easter Egg Hunt, Tree Lighting Ceremony, and Halloween in the park.
