May is an exciting time for events. There are Chili Cookoffs, Festivals, Parades, and Concerts for starters. Bluegrass and blues, along with some Country Western tunes help launch May into a festive summer 2011. If you need to clean up you boots, your sandals or take off you shoes to hit the beach, May is the perfect time to start "eventing" so you can pace yourself all summer long with exciting rides, runs, tastes, and even jumps. The Jumping Frog Jubilee in Calaveras and Duck-a-thon Rubber Duck race in Huntington Beach pay homage to critters.
