BODEGA BAY -  Bodega Bay Fisherman's Festival April 28 -29, 2012.  39th Annual event celebrates with a boat parade, the blessing of the fleet, the wooden boat race, live performances, and more! Time: 10am - 5pm at Westside Park on Westshore Road in Bodega Bay. Admission is $10, seniors $8, kids under 12 are free. Parking is free.

CAMBRIA - Annual Cambria Wildflower Show, April 28 - 29, 2012.
A display of fresh wildflowers collected from the Monterey County line to the Morro Bay Estuary and from the coastal bluffs to the ridge of the Santa Lucia Mountains. COSTA MESA -  Southern California Spring Garden Show, April 26-29, 2012. South Coast Plaza Crate and Barrel / Macy's Home Store Wing. Hours: Monday to Friday 10am - 9 p.m.,  Saturday 10am - 8 p.m.,  Sunday 11am - 6:30 p.m.  Free Admission and Parking.

CUPERTINO -Cupertino Cherry Blossom Festival - April 28-29, 2012. Annual festival honors the anniversary of Cupertino's sister relationship with Toyokawa, Japan.  Memorial Park, across from De Anza College, Stevens Creek Blvd., Cupertino. Call: (408) 940-5227.

ENCINITAS Encinitas Street Fair April 28-29, 2012. Annual Spring Street Fair held on Historic 101 includes four stages with live entertainment, a beer garden, kiddie rides, 400 vendor booths with arts, crafts, and treasures from around the world. Food is sold at the event, too! This is Encinitas hot ticket item to launch summer. Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Location: Highway 101 between D and J Streets in Downtown Encinitas, CA.

FOLSOM - Springtime in the Garden April 28 - 29, 2012. The Folsom Garden Club 12th annual Springtime in the Garden tour is your opportunity to get plant and landscaping design ideas. A master gardener will be onsite. Cost:  $12 per person. A map and directions will be included in the ticket.. This is annual fundraiser for college scholarships and community projects. Time: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

SACRAMENTO - Cal State Flower, Food & Garden Show April 27-29, 2012.  Includes floral design competition with professional and amateur. Hours: Fri, Apr. 27: 12 noon - 7 p.m.  Sat, Apr. 28: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.  Sun, Apr. 29: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Sacramento Convention Center, CA.

SAN FRANCISCO - LOL! Laugh out loud with comedian Dan Nainan, at MATCHA which includes music, cocktails & art. DJs spinning tunes, cocktails and entertainment.  You may have seen him in an Apple commercial, in the film The Last Airbender, in TedIndia, or possibly at a Democratic National Convention. Of Indian and Japanese decent, Dan brings his wit and humor to MATCHA in full force. Take a ride through the Maharaja exhibition and the museum's collections with docent conversations. SANTA CRUZ -Logjam! 2012, April 28-29.  The longest running "old boards, no cords" surfing competition is back at Pleasure Point for two days of amazing surfing action on vintage boards from the 1960's. Location: Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz, CA.

WALNUT CREEK - Fine Arts & Crafts Festival, April 28 - 29, 2012.  The 68th Semi-Annual event includes 150 artists and crafters lining the sidewalk of Main Street and the closed street of Locust in downtown Walnut Creek.
