SOUTH PASADENA: House of Design April 24-May 22, 2022 at Oaklawn Manor. Anchoring an historic Greene & Greene  neighborhood of century-old homes, a stately 1905 English Tudor mansion atop a sprawling estate was built for architect Mr. Harry Hawgood, an English civil engineer whose career designing railways and waterways spanned multiple continents. Concrete construction, rich wood interiors, stained glass windows, ornate beamed ceilings,  floor-to-ceiling travertine fireplaces, and landscaped sunken gardens make this show stopper a hit for this year's fundraising event.
