The Coronado Flower Show is held in Spreckels Park in the center of Coronado's
Village, along Orange Avenue, between 6th & 7th Streets. This is the largest
flower show held under tents in the nation. Exhibits are placed inside tents
surrounding a central gazebo, which becomes the stage for continuous
entertainment, announcements and trophy presentations. Beer Garden, serving beer
and wine. Take a break from the show, relax and listen to the entertainment from
the bandstand.

Point Arena, CA - This spring, thousands of blooming daffodils in beautiful
shades of yellow and orange will welcome in renewal of spring to the beautiful
coastal hamlet of Point Arena, Mendocino County, CA. This blossoming, and the
advent of spring itself, is the focal point of the Point Arena Merchants
Association Annual Flower Power Festival and Daffodil Explosion.
The multi-colored blossoms will brighten the drive along historic Highway 1
which becomes Main Street through Point Arena. An early sign of spring,
daffodils will trumpet the season from scenic Arena Cove to the historic Point
Arena Lighthouse.
Saturday's festival events include a Scrabble tournament, fresh Cioppino, local
Gelato, Flea Market, Flower Arranging Challenge and Historic Town. Saturday's
events end with a concert by The Sun Kings, a Beatles tribute band at Arena
Theater. Come dressed in Beatles era costumes for contest prizes. The festival
culminates Sunday at Point Arena Lighthouse for the Wind and Whales Celebration.
Experience the thrilling climb to the top of the 115 foot tower; watch migrating
gray whales and enjoy this dramatic setting for a kite flying demonstration by
the Berkeley Kite Wranglers.
