With a population close to 1.5 million, San Diego ranks as the 2nd largest city in California and 8th in the nation. Head-count alone doesn’t make the “birthplace of California” so popular but when you add great weather, a coastal setting with more than 40 miles of public beaches, and countless attractions and events, it’s a winning mix!

Photos: December Nights (Dec.7-8, 2018) in Balboa Park is a testament to what makes San Diego so fantastic. The fiesta filled with music and dance is one of the biggest, free holiday shows in the nation. With non-stop entertainment in a 1,400 acre park that boasts 15 museums and the world-famous San Diego Zoo, guests can roam between live music, shopping and food vendors, or see the latest exhibitions in galleries and gardens.
