Welcome to June 2011 events in California. As Memorial Weekend in May signals the official launch of California beaches summer season, there's still some snow skiing in Mammoth Mountains where the ski slopes generally have snow till July 4! One of our favorite events to truly launch the June summer of fun attitude is the San Diego Fair in Del Mar. In 2011 it begins on June 10 and goes till July 4. Get ready to have a good time in June. June events include outdoor fairs and festivals to launch the summer season. From California county fairs to surfing contests, the fun has just begun. Many summer events such as parades, art shows, food fests, and concerts will rock you.

HALF MOON BAY - Cool Harbor Nights Car Show. Car aficionados far and wide descend upon Pillar Point Harbor for Cool Harbor Nights, a coastal car and motorcycle show. Owners of classic cars, trucks, fancy motorcycles and hot rods have the opportunity to show off their pride and joy while providing a glimpse of early automotive and motorcycle technology. Many of the machines have taken years to create or restore. Families will enjoy the cruise down memory lane as they show their kids the vintage Mustang or hot muscle car just like they drove.
