California Festivals in June

June is the summer season in California, the time when people plan their concerts, food festivals, music and art events in public parts and places such as beaches, mountains, and the great outdoors. June annual event that have become California's favorites include the Huck Finn Jubilee in Victorville, one of the greatest bluegrass music festivals in the U.S.  San Diego Fair is a time-honored tradition at beautiful Del Mar where the racetrack overlooks the ocean. A funkier, fun option is the Cement Ship Festival in Santa Cruz County. From Fortuna to Fairfield, get out and explore many free festivals sponsored by cities and community groups. While wine fests and music fests tend to charge a fee, the art festivals, street fairs and other such annual events held in June are often free!
