Redondo Beach Lobster Festival as Seaside Lagoon is an annual September event that offers a feast of seafood and entertainment.

California Festivals in September

California Festivals in September feature some of the finest weather to be had. The tourist season is in full swing and places such as Carmel by the Sea get their best, least-foggy days. September is traditionally a warm time for California, though the mountain resorts do begin their autumn chill. The festivals held in September celebrate the best of California's assets such as its almonds, wines and cultures with international food festivals. Music festivals, air shows, hot air ballooning, cars, ships and history all make for subjects to honor with September fests. Go!
